The Word of God is our unchanging testimony. Our timeless compass–our North Star! It has a way of guiding us back home. Throughout the centuries the church has wandered from it’s cause and the Word has demanded it be brought back time and time again. From herectical teachers to corrupt church governments and everything in between, it is the Word that has guarded us through the many nights of the last two thousand years.
We must look back at this and admit that we are most vacillating creatures. We change, at times, whimsically. And what better gift for such wavering folk than that which can’t be altered. Oh Lord, thank you for your Word!
